As the name goes, coloured OMR sheet means the involvement of different colours on the printed sheet. The rest of the design of coloured OMR sheets is similar to that of the black and white sheets. Even the former is surrounded by black index points on its four corners. Take a look at some of the features of a coloured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.admengroup.com\/design-omr-sheet-design.htm\">OMR sheet design<\/a>.<br>\nFeatures of coloured OMR sheet design<br>\n\u2022 Two colours are used to create a coloured OMR sheet. While black is the primary colour that has to be used, the other colour can be pink, orange or golden yellow.<br>\n\u2022 It is best to avoid colours like green and blue in the reading area as these make scanning difficult, leading to inaccurate results. These colours can be used as header or footer.<br>\n\u2022 Earlier the coloured OMR sheets had to be printed on thick paper; however, this is no longer required. These sheets can be printed on normal white paper.<br>\n\u2022 You can print the coloured sheets using ink jet as well as laser printer. It can be printed on offset printer too.<br>\n\u2022 If using offset printing, both colours should be inculcated in the index points, and both should overlap each other exactly without any displacement.<br>\nPurpose of coloured OMR sheet design<br>\nThe use of coloured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.admengroup.com\/sheet-understanding-omr-sheet-format.htm\">OMR sheets<\/a> has diminished with the emergence of black and white sheets. However, coloured sheets are still used. Here are the reasons:<br>\n\u2022 These coloured sheets can give accurate answers even if the candidates used tick mark or thin impressions to mark their answers.<br>\n\u2022 If the educational institute or examination committee does not want to change the look of the paper they have been using for several years even if they are using the latest OMR printing and reading technology.<br>\n\u2022 If the bubbles on the OMR sheets contain printed text content, it is better to choose the coloured sheet.<br>\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.admengroup.com\/design-design-of-coloured-omr-sheets.htm\">design of coloured OMR<\/a> is perfect for you if your purpose is one of the above.
