The Myth about OMR:
People mostly think that main component in OMR process is the OMR Scanner that does all the task.
This is not true.
Also they think that special OMR sheets with special 2 colour printing on thick paper must be purchased from somewhere.

OMR technology has changed quite much in recent years. Now the main component is the OMR software.
Any sheet layout of your choice can be created yourself using Sheet design feature in OMR software and depending upon quantity required you can take laser prints, photo copies or offset print of the same on normal white paper.
Also the role of the scanner is just to scan the filled sheet and so any flatbed(one-by-one) or ADF(Automatic Document Feeder) scanner can be used. Choice of scanner simply depends on work load.
If you already have a multi-function machine (print-scan-copy type) in your office. Then it will also solve the purpose. So no need to buy the scanner.

- Design your own OMR Sheet Many OMR sheet designs are readymade in the software. New designs can be made in any size. OMR Pro has Sheet Design Panel for this.
- Print your own OMR sheets: B/w Laser printouts on normal copier paper, Photocopies & Offset Printing all work well.
- Simplicity & Economy: Single black colour laser print is sufficient.
2-colour printing not essential. Thick paper not required. Normal Copier is sufficient.
- Manual Sheet caliberation not required. Software automatically caliberates.
- OMR Pro can also read Old pattern OMR Machine based Sheets.
- Two sided (duplex) sheets can be also be printed and processed.

- Work with any regular scanner: Use any brand, any model of normal image scanner.
- Scanner and OMR Pro Software are not linked. Scanning can be done on any PC.
- No requirement of special OMR Scanner or costly OMR machine. Low model scanner without colour dropping feature and without duplex scanning will also work
- For Institutes (load of 2000 sheet/day): Cheapest ADF Scanner costs Rs. 5000/- and scans 12-15 sheets per minute.

- For professional work: Very high speed ADF cost around Rs. 20000-40000/- approx. and scan upto 40 sheets/min.
