Most organizations conduct mass recruitment at colleges and universities every year. As a large number of students participate in recruitment drives, assessing each one of the recruitment sheet manually becomes a problem. Also, it is necessary to collect some background information about the students. Here is where the OMR assessment form for recruitment comes into picture. We have provided a sample OMR sheet for the same which will explain how this sheet works.
The first block is for the name of the student. He/she has to write his/her name and fill the OMR blocks accordingly. The name should not be more than 25 characters and the students do not have mention their initials. They are asked to leave a space between their name and their father's name.
The second section is for gender followed by the community to which they belong to. There are five options which include BC, MBC, SC, ST and Other.
After this, students have to mention their qualification (BA, BBA/BBM, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc., MA, MBA, M.Com, Others)
Students have to choose their typing skill amongst three options like nil, less than 20 minutes and more than 20 minutes.
Medium of instruction in school up to 12th standard comes next, options being Marathi, English, Malayalam and Others.
Students are also asked to mention their future plan. They can opt from seven options which are Going for PG, Job after UG, Job after PG, Family business, Marriage after this study, Research and Not decided.
As the company does not know any background information about the students, they are asked to mention their percentages of standards 10th, 12th, under graduation and post graduation. This would help them to know whether the student has scored the minimum criteria for getting the job, in case they pass the test.
Students have to provide their date of birth, mobile number, landline number (along with STD code) and college code both in written and OMR forms.
There is also place for writing the email ID as well as for the date and signature.
On the left hand side of the sheet, there is an OMR answer sheet with MCQ based questions. There are four sections on this sheet.
The first section has 13 questions and the 13th question is divided into three (13i, 13ii and 13iii).
The second section has 10 questions and the third section has 16 questions. Section 4 of the sheet has four questions.
Each question in the sheet has five options (ABCDE). Students have to fill the appropriate bubble completely.
This recruitment sample OMR sheet is a hybrid sheet that is used as a form (for collecting information) as well as an answer sheet (for testing the students' knowledge).
