Transactional SMS communications are sent from an enterprise to its existing customers giving them information about the transaction made by them.
SMS sent from Banking services, social networking sites, train, e commerce site and air ways fall under the category of transactional SMS.
Educational institutions sending SMS related to the institution to registered parents or guardians, students fall under this category. They are allowed to send Transactional SMS at any time.
Promotional SMS come with a unique ID, which will have the operational code, area code, and the five digit code provided by the telemarketer.
